Three time world champion Juan Manuel Marquez wound down his training camp at the Romanza Gym in Mexico City on Tuesday.
Marquez worked with his trainer Nacho Beristan, Jose Luis Zaragoza, Raul de Anda and Angel Heredia in preparation for his showdown at the New Mexico City Arena against Ukrainian Sergey Fedchenko on Saturday. Marquez, who will be fighting in Mexico City for the first time in 18 years, faces Fedchenko for the WBO interim light welterweight title.
After working out Marquez told the assembled media: “I feel very good for this fight. We worked hard as always and hope to make a good performance to be crowned world champion for the fourth time and join the greatest names of boxing history. It will be a very nice night with my fans in my homeland.”
