
Aberdeen’s Lee McAllister became the first Scotsman to hold two Commonwealth titles simultaneously at the Beach Ballroom in Aberdeen, Scotland on Saturday(June 11), when he claimed the light-welterweight crown.
McAllister, who already holds the lightweight title, out-pointed Ghana’s Isaac Quartey via unanimous decision over 12 rounds. The scores were 120-108 twice and 120-110.
The 28 year-old Scot overcame an eye and hand injury to claim his second title.
