Kevin Mitchell insists training camp has gone perfectly and he is ready to face Manchester’s John Murray in Liverpool on Saturday evening.
London based Mitchell lost his unbeaten record when he was destroyed inside three rounds by Michael Katsidis in May 2010 but can’t wait to get back in the ring at the Echo Arena on Saturday night.
"I feel strong, I’m on form and training camp has gone really well," Mitchell told Sky Sports News HD.
"I’ve had a shut-down, locked-down gym, so no-one’s seen me in the gym. I’ve just been right on form as you can tell by my body now, the weight is perfect."
Mitchell added: "Talking is cheap, (fists) talk. I’ve been in many fights, many wars, and your hands talk."
