Following his explosive stoppage win over John Murray in Liverpool last weekend Kevin Mitchell is targeting a rematch with Australian tough guy Michael Katsidis.
The 26 year-old was stopped inside three rounds by Katsidis for the WBO interim lightweight crown in London in May 2010 but the win over the previously unbeaten Murray means Mitchell’s world title dream is now very much alive again.
"My dream is back on track," said Mitchell, talking to Sky Sports. "The dream I’ve always had since I was a kid is back on track so I’m happy.
"I want the rematch with Katsidis. I want closure. I’d definitely want to go back to Upton Park for it, they are waiting for me there."
