Kevin Mitchell has warned John Murray and trainer Joe Gallagher that he will inflict a second defeat on their gym on July 9.
Londoner Mitchell takes on Murray for the Vacant WBO Intercontinental lightweight title at the ExCeL Arena in London.
Prior to Matthew Macklin’s defeat against Felix Sturm last weekend, Gallagher had enjoyed an amazing 49 fight winning streak with his boxers but Mitchell insists he will taste again very quickly.
"Congratulations to Joe Gallagher for staying unbeaten for so long, and to John Murray for his unbeaten record too," Mitchell told Frankwarren.tv.
"But they better get ready for another painful defeat next week at the ExCeL.
"They are coming down to London, and defeats for them will be just like London buses.
"You wait ages for one to come along, and then there is another one right around the corner.
"Has that defeat for Macklin sown a few doubts in the mind of Murray?
"Well it should do because I’m going to stop Murray and burst his bubble once and for all.
"I tasted defeat for the first time in my last fight, and it was a bitter pill to swallow. Now it’s Murray’s turn to find out what it feels like to get stopped."
