David Haye, the Brit who is out to prove he can bulk up and use his speed to cause chaos in the heavyweight boxing ranks, is a hot favourite with bookmaker William Hill to beat veteran Monte Barrett on Saturday night in London on Setanta Sports.
Hills make Haye 1/5 favourite to win the fight at anytime and 8/15 to knock out his American opponent, who is 10/3 to win the fight and 9/2 to knock out Haye.
Hills also make Haye 11/4 to win on points and 8/1 to win by first round knockout, with Barrett quoted at 16/1 and 33/1 respectively.
With Haye declaring that he intends to beat both of the Klitschko brothers Vitali and Wladimir, William Hill are quoting him at 16/1 to achieve that double, and he is 9/2 to beat either of them during 2009.
Hayes is 6/4 with Hills to hold one of the recognised (WBA, WBC, WBO, IBF) versions of the heavyweight boxing world title during 2009 and Evens to do so any time before the end of 2010.
