Floyd Mayweather Snr, the trainer of Britain’s Ricky Hatton, believes his fighter will stop pound for pound Manny Pacquiao.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper Mayweather Snr said: "I believe Ricky can stop Pacquiao.
"The best man will win on the night but it’s my man who’s going to be the best. Pacquiao is not going to be the best fighter that night."
Regarding nullifying Pacquiao’s incredible hand speed, Mayweather added: "I can’t take that (speed) away from Pacquiao. But if there’s one thing that Ricky will take away from him, it will be his jab. Ricky is stronger than Pacquiao and I have a whole lot of strategy."
gray:
Senior said Pacquiao didn't have a chance against De La Hoya. Before that he said, he thinks De La Hoya beat Floyd Jr. Two strikes... one more coming and he's out. Senior cannot claim having had full participation in the career of any Hall of Famer--already enshrined or to be enshrined. He spent a good part of his time after his retirement in jail while Roger steered and laid the foundations of Pretty Boy's career. After getting out of jail, his son hired him to replace Roger but soon fired him. Oscar was already Oscar when Senior came into the Golden Boy camp. Senior is the most overrated trainer around and his opinions do not deserve space, not even cyberspace. His predictions deserve to be dumped unto a pile of bovine alimentary canal excretions, where it belongs.
PPPPFFFFFTT !!!
Predatordog:
Mayweather can say what ever he wants, this is defenetly not going a cake walk for Hatton , he'll be lucky not to look like a smashed up tomato afterwards.......
