Cleotis “Mookie” Pendarvis won a highly competitive and keenly fought 12 round unanimous decisionwin over tough Robert Frankel at the Warner Center Marriott in Woodland Hills, California on Friday night.
Pendarvis, a slick soutpawwas the quicker of the two boxers, who continually scored with accutate combination punching. Frankel did find some success by countering with right hands punches but Pendarvis was always one punch ahead..
All three judges scored the bout for Pendarvis, 117-111, 118-110, and 119-109. Pendarvis, who resides in South Central Los Angeles, CA upped his record to 15-3-2-(5), . Frankel, falls to 30-12-1-(6 ).
