
"Assault In The Ring," the critically acclaimed HBO Sports documentary from Live Star Entertainment, which revisits the infamous 1983 Billy Collins Jr.-Luis Resto boxing scandal, won the Sports Emmy for Outstanding Sports Documentary last night (April 26) at the 31st Annual Sports Emmy Awards in New York City.

The film, which was written, directed and produced by Live Star’s Eric Drath, premiered on HBO in August 2009, and took home top honors over fellow nominees, “The Legend Of Jimmy The Greek” (ESPN), “The Lost Son Of Havana” (ESPN Deportes), “Ted Williams” (HBO Sports) and “Without Bias” (ESPN).
