Atlanta Corporate Fight Night (ACFN3) is this Thursday(Nov 3) and in addition to the boxers who participate to raise money for the Atlanta based national charity “Stand Up For Kids,” this black tie evening plays host to the first-ever reunion of the legendary 1984 Olympic boxing team, regarded as the strongest Olympic Boxing Team in history.
Fight fans, sponsors and media are all invited to attend the weigh in event Wednesday, November 2 at Eddie’s Attic, 515B N. McDonough St., Decatur, GA to meet the Olympians and also the corporate fighters.
“Our business professionals range from doctors to lawyers to engineers, and have trained for 10 hard weeks for this event,” said Terri Moss, ACFN promoter and trainer, from the Decatur Boxing Club and retired WIBF/WIBA World Champion. Moss’s former trainer and partner at Decatur Boxing Club, Xavier Biggs, has organized the Olympic Reunion and attending the weigh in and fight night will be Evander Holyfield, Pernell Whitaker, Mark Breland, Frank Tate, Virgil Hill, Henry Tillman, Milton McCrory, Tyrell Biggs, Meldrick Taylor, Robert Shannon, Jerry Page, and Paul Gonzales.
“It’s going to be a great time, not only for our charity, but for these former team mates to be together again,” Biggs said.
