Lucian Bute is expecting nothing less than a tough battle when he defends his IBF super-middleweight crown against ‘Road Warrior Glen Johnson at the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec City, Canada on November 5.
Bute has sparred Miami based Johnson in the past and knows exactly what to expect on November 5
"I am expecting a very tough fight,” Bute told espn.com. “I know Glen well and he is a very aggressive boxer who instils relentless pressure. I laced up the gloves with him in 2009, but there is a huge difference between sparring and a real fight.
“I become another Lucian Bute in real combat situations and, rest assured, that I have a few surprises for Glen. This is a big test for me and a victory against such a good fighter will solidify my place among the very best 168 pounders in the world."
