Undefeated lightweight prospect Frankie “Pitbull” Gomez (11-0, 8 KOs) travelled to the UIC Pavilion in Chicago and defeated Adrian Granados (8-2-1, 5 KOs) via a hard fought eight round majority decision on Friday night.
Gomez decked Granados with a right hand in round two and again tried to bomb out his opponent in round three. Granados bravely hung in there and made a fight of it. Unfortunately for him the judges made Gomez the winner by scores of 78-73, 77-74, 76-76.
