Bristol super-flyweight Lee Haskins is targeting a world title shot against WBC champion Suriyan Por Chokchai.
The 27 year-old is set to travel to the WBC Convention in Las Vegas on December 10 with his manager Chris Sanigar in a bid to push for a crack at the world title.
Speaking to thisisbristol.co.uk Sanigar said: "It’s all about networking and making connections. This is a new and exciting phase in Lee’s career and going to Las Vegas to meet up with WBC officials is an important part of lobbying for a world title fight.
Sanigar added: "Lee has a top-ten rating and the next thing is to push him towards a position where he can be installed as a mandatory challenger.
"In the meantime, we have to keep talking to people and pressing our case in the right places."
