

Martin Honorio scored the biggest win of his 24 fight career at the Santa Ana Star Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Friday (Nov 25) night.
The 24 year-old featherweight from La Puente, California scored a unanimous 10 round points win over the previously unbeaten Steven Luevano to extend his record to 20-3-1-(12), by scores of 95-92, 94-93 and 96-93.
Luevano floored Honorio twice in the second round but the Californian fought back gamely to gain the upper hand from the fourth round onwards and won the 9th round big to put the verdict beyond any doubt.
On the undercard of the Top Rank promoted card unbeaten flyweight Giovanni Segura scored an eight round split decision win over Benjie Garcia despite being floored in the opening round, The judges scores were 78-74 and 74-73 for Segura and 77-74 for Garcia.
At welterweight Vicente "El Picosito" Garcia improved to 8-3-(5), with a four round win over Bradley Jensen.
