Argentine boxer Lucas Mathhysse has reportedly withdrawn from his September 17 with Erik Morales.
It is not clear whether Mathhysse pulled out due to illness or injury at this time.
Matthysse and Morales were set to fight for the vacant WBC junior welterweight title on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather Jr’s welterweight title challenge against Victor Ortiz.
A member of Mathhysse’s team confirmed has reportedly confirmed his withdrawal, but refused to discuss the exact reason for the withdrawal.
