HBO’s excellent and highly insightful first episode of the 24/7 series featuring Floyd Mayweather Jr vs and Victor Ortiz aired over the weekend.
Mayweather Jr returns to the ring on September 17 after a 15 month lay off to challenge Ortiz for his WBC welterweight crown. As always Mayweather Jr and his volatile family members stole the show to guarantee their position as the villains whilst Ortiz’s humble recollection of his lonely childhood firmly established him as the good guy.
This first episode produced just about every type of drama and emotion you can think of, a real must see for any true boxing fan.
