Only one SecondsOut ranked fighter stepped between the ropes this weekend and that was Omar Andres Narvaez, who remained unbeaten. However, by the time he walked out of the ring, Austin Trout earned his way into the top ten at junior middleweight by outpointing tough David Lopez. Congratulations to the young, unbeaten American fighter.
On Saturday, June 11, at Estadio Luna Park, Buenos Aires, Distrito Federal, Argentina, Omar Andreas Narvaez outpointed William Urina in a twelve round WBO super flyweight bout. "El Huracan" notched his third world title defense and scored his third win in 2011. Narvaez enhanced his record to 35-0-2 (19). Urina fell to 17-2 (14).
Narvaez holds his number two position among SecondsOut’s best super flyweights, but his activity may be too much for Hugo Cazares.
