Following Floyd Mayweather’s Tweet about giving Victor Ortiz a rematch if he can beat Andre Berto in a rematch, promoter Oscar De La Hoya has now jumped on the ‘Tweeting’ bandwagon.
“It’s so sad Mayweather has to bash people and flaunt money he’s not going to [have] when he retires. Give Ortiz a rematch. Try beat him fair…and then maybe, just maybe, I will give you another chance at me.” said De La Hoya.
Oscar was referring to the bout he fought against Mayweather in May 2007, a bout he lost via 12 round split decision.
