Antonio Pitalua (52-5-1, 43 KOs) and Cosme “Chino” Rivera (32-14-3, 23 KOs) battled to a 12 round draw at the Salon Jose Cuervo in Mexico City, Mexico on Friday night.
.The light-welterweight battle of the former world title challengers ended all square when one judge scored the bout 115-113 for Rivera, one judge made Pitalua the winner 115-114 and the third official scored the bout even at114-114 each.
On the undercard Jr flyweight Ariel Guzman (11-0, 7 KOs) won a four round split decision against Miguel “Chorchas” Dominguez (3-1, 1 KO). The scores were 39-37 and 39-37 for Guzman and 39-38 for Dominguez.
