Rodriguez Still Undefeated

By Juan Barajas: Saturday night at the Lobo Dome in Mazatlan, Mexico, light flyweights Jose Rodriguez (24-0, 15 ko’s) and Karluis Diaz (10-1, 8 ko’s) battled it out for the WBC Youth Intercontinental light flyweight title.

Although the bout was scheduled to go 12 rounds, Rodriguez only used 7, ensuring his victory by knocking out Diaz, winning the title and remaining undefeated.

On the undercard, bantamweights Stephanie Jamoye (18-0, 8 ko’s) and Tomoki Kameda (15-1, 11 ko’s) went the 10 round distance in their battle for the WBC Youth World title. In the end, Jamoye pulled out the decision and the title while Kameda went home with the loss.
