Former IBF lightweight champion Paul Spadafora, 44-0-1-(18), scored an eighth round TKO win over Ivan Fiorletta, 24-6-2-(7) at War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Friday .
The welterweight contender proved too slick for Fioretta and was connecting at pretty much as he pleased when the bout was stopped at the 0.40.
On the undercard, comebacking heavyweight Willie Herring, 12-6-3-(3), stopped Dieuly Aristilde, 7-2-(1), in round two. In another heavyweight action, Jason Barnett, 12-10-(6), score an upset win over the previously unbeaten Erik “The Viking” Leander.
