
Super middleweight Matt Vanda knocked out Harley Kilfian in round three at the Armory in Saint Paul, MN on Friday night.
Vanda end the fight with right cross followed by a left hook to the head after 0:29 of the third round. The game Kilfian came to fight but ended up on the end of Vanda’s hard right hand.
Vanda improves to (43-13, 24 KOs) while Kilfian drops to (9-8, 8 KOs).
On the undercard middleweight Antonio Johnson (8-1, 4 KOs) stopped Silas Ortley (4-10, 3 KOs), flooring him three times before the fight was stopped after 0 :25 seconds of the fifth round.
In a Super bantamweight bout Antwan Robertson (8-7-1, 5 KOs) won an eight round split decision over Brad Patraw (7-4, 4 KOs) to even the fight score at wins wins apiece of their four fights.
The scores were 76-75, 76-75 for Robertson and 77-74 for Patraw.
At junior welterweight Tony Lee (5-1, 2 KOs) won a five round unanimous decision over Mike Davis (5-9, 4 KOs). In the fight of the night Lee floored Davis in the second round before sitting back and fighting behind his solid jab move style.
