Matthew Macklin will take on the Argentinian Sergio Martinez at Madison Square Garden on March 17th.
Macklin was denied victory last summer against WBA champion Sturm who won a split decision verdict.
Despite that disappointment, Macklin will attempt to go one better when he faces the Argentinian.
Macklin said: "It was good to get rewarded with this fight because being at Madison Square Garden, on St Patrick’s Day, against Martinez, it ticks all the boxes. It’s like a fairytale".
