Super Fly Narvaez Retains WBO Crown

Argentine southpaw Omar Andres Narvaez retained his WBO super-flyweight title in Buenos Aires on Saturday night with a unanimous decision over William Urina.

All three judges saw the contest 117-110 for the unbeaten 35-year-old.

Narvaez, who defeated Joan Guzman and Steve Molitor as an amateur, controlled the action throughout and rarely allowed his Colombian foe to get his shots off.

This was Narvaez’s 20th world title fight and the third defence of the WBO super-fly crown he won
