German-based Armenian Arthur Abraham has announced he intends to return back to the middleweight division and has his sights set on an all-German super fight with WBA champion Felix Stum.
Abraham’s step up to Super-middleweight saw him lose his unbeaten record to Carl Froch in Helsinki for the vacant WBC super middleweight title and then against the WBA champion Andre Ward.
The defeats in Showtime’s Super Six tournament have convinced him that his future belongs at middleweight.
Abraham will look to return to the ring around October time, with an opponent and venue to be decided.
