
Librado Andrade, 30-4-(23), scored an impressive third round stoppage against Matt O’Brien, 18-3-(7), at the Centro De Espectaculos De La Feria Leon in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico on Saturday night.
Whilst the fight lasted it was a terric battle that saw the blood soaked Andrade floor O’Brien twice in the third round to claim the vacant WBC Intercontinental super middleweight title.
In a light heavyweight bout Enrique Ornelas, 32-7-(20), out-pointed journeyman Alfredo Contreras, 11-12-2-(5), over 10 rounds. Ornelas is the brother of Librado Andrede.
On the same card bantamweight Ivan Morales, 11-0-(6), the younger brother Erik Morales, scored a third round knockout win over Juan Velazquez. Velaquez was decked twice before the bout was stopped.
In a featherweight bout Roberto Manzanarez, 13-0-(9), remained unbeaten when he out-pointed Edgar Martinez over six rounds.
