Super bantamweight Francisco “Panchito” Arce claimed the vacant NABF title via a fourth round knockout over former world champ Isidro Garcia at the Tecate Boxing Tour stop in Monterrey, NL, México on Saturday night.
The end came after 2.52 of the fourth round when Arce landed a left hook to the ribs to drop Garcia for the full count.
In other action, super featherweight Jorge Lacierva improved to 37-7-6-(26), by destroying Edgar “Basuras” Riovalle after just 0.47 of the opening round.
A lightweights bout saw Sergio “Tama” Torres, 15-1-1-(14), and Ernesto Morales, 18-7-2-(10) fight to an eighth round majority draw.
