Bika, Oganov Headline July 30 Superboxer Card in Campsie

The fourth Superboxer series promotion to be held on Thursday July 30, has been changed from Melbourne to Sydney and will now be presented at the Orion Centre in Campsie, NSW.

Promoter Fidel Tukal’s The Empire group has brought in the heavyweight artillery for the card, with two of the biggest punching super middleweights in the world appearing in separate matches on the night.

The Contender champion Sakio “The Scorpion” Bika 27-3-2 (18) will headline the card when he faces Valentin Ochoa from Argentina over eight rounds.

Russian “Destroyer” Victor Oganov 28-2 (28) will be up against Kashif Mumtaz, over six rounds.

Billy Hussein’s rising super middleweight prospect Zac Awad is also on the card, along with new Australian junior welterweight champion Solomon Egberime defending his belt against Bobby Antonakos.

The event will be televised live around Australia on Network Ten’s 24 hour free-to-air sports channel ONE.

The Channel 10 television program will be hosted by ONE commentator Greg Rust and renowned boxing trainer Johnny Lewis, along with commentators Matthew Brooks, Paul Kent and Daryl Beattie.
