Hugo Cazares out-pointed Japan’s Hiroyuki Hisataka by 12 round unanimous decision at the Prefectural Gymnasium in Osaka, Japan to retain his WBA super flyweight title on Thursday.
The 32-year-old Mexican dominated the bout from the opening bell. Cazares improved to 34-6-2-(24), Hisataka drops to 19-9-1-(8).
Cazares was making the third defence of his title.
