Filipino pound for pound top 10 boxer Nonito Donaire Jr. will face Wilfredo Vazquez Jr for the vacant WBO super bantamweight title in February 2012.
Promoter Bob Arum has reportedly confirmed that Donaire and Vazquez will battle for the vacant title in Donaire’s super bantamweight debut.
Donaire, who held the WBO and WBC bantamweight belts, is coming off a clear 12 round points win against Omar Narvaez at 118lbs
Vazquez from Puerto Rico,holds a 21-1-1 record.
Donaire is expected to fight four times in 2012
