WBC junior flyweight champion Adrian Hernandez (22-1-1, 14 KOs) took less than two rounds to bang out challenger Gideon Buthelezi (12-2, 4 KOs) at the Foro Polanco in Mexico City on Saturday night.
Hernandez made a slow start, preferring to see what Buthelezi had to offer but in the second round Hernandez stepped up a gear by battering his opponent and knocking him down three times before the fight was stopped after 2:20 of the second rond.
