Former two time world lightweight champion Michael Katsidis (28-4, 23 KOs) scored a third round knockout win over Michael Lozada (38-9-1, 30 KOs) on Saturday.
The junior welterweight bout to place at the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Broadbeach, Queensland, Australia. Katsidis finished the bout with a barrage of body punches after 2:18.
It was a welcome return to Australia for Katsidis, who had not fough on Australian soil for five years.
