Magee, the reigning holder, scaled 76.2 kg, while Markussen was slightly lighter at 76.1 kg.
Danish prospect Patrick Nielsen weighed 73.2 kg for his clash with Hungarian toughman Jozsef Matolcsi, who was 72 kg.
