

WBA/WBO lightweight king Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez (53-5-1, 39 KOs) knocked out Likar Ramos (24-4, 18 KOs) in the first round of a non-title bout at the Plaza de Toros in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico on Saturday night.
Marquez , who was fighting at junior-welterweight, unleashed a cracking right hand to the chin of Ramos, who ended up out cold on the canvas after 1:47.
On the undercard WBA light flyweight champ Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez (29-0, 24 KOs) retained his title via a seventh round tko win over Omar Salado (22-4-2, 13 KOs). Gonzalez scored two knockdowns in round one and again in the seventh. The bout was stopped after 0:48.of the fifth round.
Former world champion Rafael “Raffa” Marquez (40-6, 36 KOs) smashed Eduardo Becerril (12-8-2, 4 KOs) for five rounds before forcing Becerril to stay on his stool at the end of the fifth round. Marquez knocked down Becerril with a left hook in round four and is now looking for a world title shot.
