
Mexican boxers claimed a 3-0 win over their Filipino rivals at the Gimnasio Rodrigo in Chihuahua, Mexico on Saturday night.
In the main event, local boxer Victor Zaleta improved his record to 17-1-(9), whehn he outscored Lowie Bantigue over 12 rounds to claim the vacant WBC Carribbean super flyweight title. The scores were 116-112, 115-113 and 115-112.
In the co-main event Oscar Ibarra scored a second round tko over Sonny Boy Jaro. Jaro was down in rounds both the first and second rounds. The fight was for the WBC Silver super flyweight title
The third title bout of the night saw Miguel “Mickey” Roman, 32-7-(24), knock out Joan de Guia with a punch to the body after 1:16 of the opening round. The vacant WBC International super-featherweight title was on the line.
