
Undefeated heavyweight prospect Alexander Povetkin returns to the ring later this month when he faces Nigerian Teke Oruth in a 10 round bout at the Olimpyskiy Sports Palace, in Chekhov, Russia.
The 31 year-old former Olympic heavyweight champion was the IBF mandatory challenger to face Wladimir Klitschko but the Russian was pulled out by trainer Teddy Atlas in order to gain more experience and more rounds under his belt.
Povetkin,19-0-(14), is ranked No. #3 WBO, #6 WBA, #10 WBC, and #11 IBF, Oruth boasts a record of, 14-2-1-(6).
