Pornsawan Porpramuk ripped the WBA minimumweight title from Indonesian veteran Muhammed Rachman at the Indosiar Studio in Jakarta on Saturday but controversy
Porpramuk, from Thailand, aggressively attacked the aged champion from the opening bell and was rewarded for his work with judges scores of 114-114, 113-115 and 114-115.
Still, this didn’t stop Rachman complaining about the fight outcome. He said: "None of his punch hit my face. I was treated unfairly in my own country.”
Rachman, now 64 -11 – 5 (33 KOs), is likely to lodge a complaint to the WBA.
