WBO ranked bantamweight contender Jesus Ruiz, 24-3-2-(18), scored a shutout 12 round unanimous points win over Julio Roque Ler, 30-8-(18), on at the Jose Cuervo Salon in Mexico City on Friday.
Ler was tough but extremly limited against the quicker and stronger Ruiz.
As the 120-108 on all three judges scorecards indicated, Ruiz was in full control throughout. Ruiz retained his interim WBC Latino bantamweight title.
