WBC youth super-middleweight champion Khetag Kozayev has been shot dead in the capital of the Republic of North Ossetia in Russia’s volatile North Caucasus Region.
The Republican Interior Ministry reported on Sunday that Kozayev was killed by several gunshots at the Mirage nightclub in Vladikavkaz on Saturday night
"The suspect has been identified. He is likely to be detained during the day," a spokesman for the ministry said.
The 20 year-old Russian had a perfect 10-0 record including nine stoppages or ko’s.
