Silachai Defeats Donal In Chiangrai

By Damrong Simakajornboon at ringside: WBO #9 lightweight Thai Tor Silachai, 20-2-(14), easily retained his WBO Oriental 135lb title when he defeated Filipino Arnel Donal, 10-2-1-(4), on Friday at Maekong Pier in Municipality of Chiangkong, Chiangrai, Thailand.
The Thai fighter rapidly grabbed the victory as he mostly displayed one-side attacks from the opening round, forcing Donal to retire at the beginning of round three. Silachai successfully retained his WBO regional belt for the sixth time.

In other action, WBO#6 bantam Pungluang Sor Singyu, 32-1-(20), won a close but unanimous decision over Phudphadnoi Muangsima. This was a close affair as Phudphadnoi did better than expected, exchanging punches with the WBO regional 118lb title holder in a six round exciting bout. Finally, experienced Pungluang was announced to be the winner on all three judges card by scores of 58-57.
Also, Thongtaeng Muangsima outpointed Taharn-ek Tor Silachai in a six round non-title bout.
