Sor Singyu Earns Title Shot

Pungluang Sor Singyu showed good form by knocking out Nathan Bolcio, to win the Interim WBO Asia Pacific Bantamweight title at Bangtao Stadium, Cherngtalee municipality, Talang District, Phuket Province, Thailand on Tuesday .

“NongOh” Female Promoter Pariyakorn said Sor Singyu now has the opportunity to challenge for the WBO Bantamweight title in February 2012, in Thailand .

In the main event Puengluang Sor Singyu started quickly, but Bolcio defended well until Sor Singyu opened up strongly with a series of combinations in round 2 that floored Bolicio after 2.34 of the second round. A right hook did the damage.

After the fight “NongOh” Pariyakorn Ratanasuban disclosed that now Puengluang is #2 and will go up to #1 position in the WBO Bantamweight rankings as Nonito Donaire, Philippine WBO/WBC Bantamweight Champion is vacating his position.

“NongOh” Pariyakorn Ratanasuban will now start negotiating for an opponent to face Puengluang Sor Singyu in Thailand.
