Krzysztof Wlodarczyk made a successful first defence of his WBC cruiserweight title by out-pointing American challenger Jason Robinson in Warsaw,Poland on Saturday night.
Wlodarczyk,44-2-1-(32), was pushed all the way by the unfancied Robinson in an entertaining tough fight. At he end of 12 rounds all three judges scored for the Polish hero by scores of 117-111, 115-113 and 116-112. The 35 year-old Robinson falls to 19-6-(11).
On the undercard, Tomasz Hutkowski retained his WBC Youth cruiserweight title by virtue of a 10 round draw with Zakaria Azzouzi
