Jan Zaveck retained his IBF welterweight title with a fifth round tko win over Paul Delgado at the sold-out Sportspark Arena in Ljubljana, Slovenia on Friday night.
Zaveck, 31-1-(18),floored the American challenger twice in round two, before finishing him off with a barrage of punches in round five of a routine title defence. Delgado falls to 25-10-1-(4).
On the undercard Denis Simcic, 26-1-(14), retained his WBF International light-heavyweight title with a 10 round unanimous decision win over Sandro Siproshvili, 24-8-(11). The scores were 90-82, 89-82 and 90-81

Unbeaten Female middleweight Christina Hammer, 9-0-(7), scored a one sided eighth round tko win over Diana Kiss, 6-3-1-(5), Kiss was so badly beaten she did not come out for round eight. The win gave Hammer the vacant WBF belt.

In a welterweight bout Sergio Vartanov improved to 9-0, 4 stoppages with a third round tko win over Jeis Tovmaszjan.
