Greenberg headlines Monte Carlo card

Fight Academy in partnership with World Sports Promotion and SBM stage a night of international championship boxing in Monte Carlo on March 18.

Top of the Eurosport live televised event feature undefeated heavyweight prospect Roman Greenberg, who features in his first title fight when he faces Russian Alexander Vassilev for the vacant IBO Intercontinental heavyweight title.

The undercard features Mathew Hatton, the brother of IBF and WBA light-welterweight champion Ricky Hatton. Ricky will be in Monaco helping his brother prepare and also continuing to prepare for a title challenge later in the year.

Ukrainian cruiserweight Vadim Usenko, who is a former amateur star, will be having his second professional fight following his stunning first round demolition on his professional debut just before Christmas.

Unbeaten English super-featherweight prospect Gareth Couch faces Swiss boxer Vito Rana, success for Couch should guarantee a title challenge for him by the end of 2006.

Sergei Gulyakevich marks time after his stunning destruction of Tonto Tonchev on the last 'Boxing Masters' in Monaco. This time he faces Frederic Gosset of Valencia. Gulakevich will be boxing for the European title by the end of the year.

The unbeaten Alfredo DiFeto of Italy faces also undefeated Sergei Fedchenko of Ukraine in what should be a great competitive 8 round boxing match.

The entire event will be broadcast live on International Eurosport to over 100 million homes and on WWW.Secondsout.tv.
