Maniatis promotes “Lethal Combination” on 19 November in Melbourne

By Paul Upham: Victorian boxing promoter of the year Peter Maniatis presents a “Lethal Combination” card on Friday 19 November 2010 at Malvern Town Hall in Melbourne, Victoria. In the main event, 22 year-old Health Ellis will face veteran Benny Horra for the vacant Victorian middleweight title.

“Heath Ellis is trying to create Victorian boxing history on 19 November,” Maniatis told SecondsOut. “No registered boxer has ever won four Victorian titles in four different weight classes.”

In the main support, 23 year-old Tim Hunt faces Matthew Lytwynenko for the vacant Victorian welterweight title.

“It should be a good fight for the vacant Victorian title,” said Maniatis. “Tim Hunt wants a shot at the Australian welterweight title if he wins this fight with Lytwynenko.”

The official weigh-in for the “Lethal Combination” card will be held at Giorgio’s Restaurant cnr. High Street & Glenferrie Road Malvern on Thursday 18 November 2010 at 7:00pm. All fans are welcome to attend.
