Dave Allen is the latest boxing fan to change his mind about the outcome of the rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn this weekend.

The first fight back in April was an all-action affair with both men throwing plenty of big shots, which is why they had to recover afterwards in the hospital.

It was the size and experience of Eubank which saw him safely get over the line and take a 12-round points win, though Benn went up in many people’s estimations for his ability and heart, especially having been away from the sport and largely inactive for over two years.

Speaking on his own YouTube channel, popular heavyweight Allen, who previously picked Benn, has now decided that Eubank will manage to repeat his win on Saturday at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.

“In terms of the fight, I think Eubank is still too big. I think he will be better this time. I think he’ll be better prepared. I think he underestimated Benn last time. Conor is tough, he’s fit as a fiddle, he’s tough, he can fight, but if Chris is 10% better, he will win again.

“Conor’s tough, he’s fit, Chris I don’t think is a big puncher. I’m going to go Eubank on points, I think it will be a bit wider than last time. Benn’s had that activity from the last fight that will do him a world of good, but Chris is still too big, too good. I’m going Eubank on points.”

Eubank will again be competing at 160lbs, having fought as high as 168lbs, and will be hampered by a rehydration class that limits him to putting on just 10lbs on the morning of the fight.
