Just when it seemed a motley crew of familiar faces had all flown to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the Amir Khan vs Billy Dib fight, the main event Grand Arrivals took on a distinctly ’world champions’ theme.
Joining former unified super-lightweight king Khan and ex-IBF featherweight ruler Dib were the event’s co-hosts, erstwile two-weight boss Paulie Malignaggi and one-time cruiserweight title-holder Glen McCrory. Just when you thought it could get no more surreal.
