Amir Khan Names The Heavyweight Who Can Beat Anyone – And It’s Not Oleksandr Usyk

Not everyone believes that Oleksandr Usyk is the one heavyweight who could see off all challengers.

That is despite the fact that the Ukrainian has already proven this. He remains unbeaten in his professional career at both cruiserweight and heavyweight and has famously become the undisputed champion in both of divisions.

Last time out he beat Tyson Fury over 12 close rounds after a decisive 9th round which saw him land some heavy shots and sending Fury around the ropes.

The rematch is set for December 21 and head of it former multi-weight world champion Amir Khan was asked by iFL TV if ‘The Gypsy King’ can get revenge and believes if he has the hunger then Fury can ‘beat anyone’.

“Think so, I think so yeah, I think Tyson can win that fight as long as he sticks to the game plan. He needs that same hunger that time he fought Wladimir Klitschko for the world title. If he has that same hunger he can beat anyone.”

He then said he thinks Fury will be better the second time around, which is what the former champion himself has said.

“I think he took it a little bit lightly fighting against Usyk, he thought Usyk is the little man and that he wasn’t going to be that strong. Usyk proved us all wrong. This is when Tyson comes back. I think he’ll do a better job on Usyk. Overall he’s the bigger fighter, better fighter, stronger fighter in weight as well. I’ve got Tyson hopefully winning that fight if he takes it more seriously which I think he will. It’s going to be Tyson Fury late stoppage or unanimous win.”

Fury was left ‘disappointed’ when news emerged that the rematch would not be for undisputed status after Usyk was forced to vacate the IBF belt.
