Amir Khan has made his prediction for tonight’s four-belt heavyweight clash between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois clear.

Usyk brings the WBC, WBA and WBO belts to the table, looking to snatch back the IBF strap from Dubois, who was elevated to full champion last year when the Ukrainian had to vacate the belt.

The pair have met before back in August of 2023, with Usyk largely controlling the action and forcing a stoppage in the ninth round. Dubois’ team, however, take confidence from the fact that they had Usyk down, however the shot that did it was ruled a low blow.

Both men have gained good heavyweight experience since their last meeting, with the Ukrainian twice beating Tyson Fury on points and Dubois stopping Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua. The Brit has raw power and youth on his side, but is eclipsed in skill by Usyk, who was also undisputed champion down at cruiserweight.

Will the power be enough to earn Dubois all the belts? Former world champion and fan-favourite Khan told Genting Casino no.

“Power doesn’t matter to him. Size doesn’t matter to that guy. He’s just a good overall boxer and knows how to use his hands. He will hit you with shots that you’re not going to see. And he then follows them shots up, so yeah, even if it goes to 12 rounds, I got Usyk winning that fight because Dubois is going to try to pot shot him all the time. So I don’t give Dubois any chance, I’m sorry.”

The fight takes place this evening at Wembley Stadium, London.
