Amir Khan plans to be ringside for the rematch between Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr.
The first fight back in April was one of the best on UJ shores for some time.
Both men gave it their all and threw huge numbers of shots with plenty of aggression, as was expected after such a heated build up over the preceding couple of years since Benn failed a drug test and their initial planned date was canned.
Speaking to iFL TV, former world champion Khan spoke of the rematch and offered sympathy for Eubank having to meet the same weight and rehydration clauses.
“I just still feel for Eubank ’cause the weight is going to be the same, isn’t it? I heard it’s going to be the same as first time so if it is it’s a little bit unfair on him.
“But at the same time it’s another good fight, it’s another good fight that people want to see. It’s another British fight you know. I think it’ll be another sell-out arena. Eubank and Benn are going to give it their all, they know how much exposure they got from this fight. I think it will be a good one.”
The weight will once again be at 160lb, two divisions above Benn’s natural weight, with Eubank limited to adding no more than 10lb on the day of the contest.
